As members of the Towson University community, faculty, staff and students are able to download and install certain software titles for free.

The following pages will require your Towson University (TowsonU for faculty/staff, Tiger for students) username and password.

For Faculty, Staff and Students

• McAfee VirusScan Software, Engine and SDAT Updates
• Cisco VPN (Virtual Private Network) Client
• SSH (Secure Shell) and Telnet Clients
• FTP (File Transfer Protocol) Client
• Student version of Mathematica

For Faculty and Staff Only

• Citrix ICA/Web Client to access the Virtual Workspace
• Towson University Fonts, Logos and Templates

  NOTE: WinZip is not freeware; they provide a 21-day evaluation version of their licensed software. Additionally, basic compression/uncompression functionality is built-in to Windows XP.
